WYOMING, MI (WHTC) -- Two separate pedestrian-related accidents in Wyoming have resulted in the death of one man and critical injuries to another man and a woman. Mlive reports that a 50-year-old Kentwood man was struck Monday night while trying to cross Division Avenue just after 5:30 P.M. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 49-year-old Wyoming woman driving the pickup truck that hit the man was not at fault, according to police. An accident just an hour later, involved a man and a woman panhandling on 28th Street near U.S. 131. Police say the 53-year-old woman and 48-year-old man appeared to have stepped off the curb into the path of a vehicle, which hit them. Police also say were likely intoxicated. Both were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver in this accident was also deemed as not at fault. Police are still investigating both incidents.
