HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Finally, some good construction news. Washington Avenue is now open to traffic. Some restoration work will continue but it’s effect on traffic should be minimal. Now for the not so good news, 24th Street remains under construction between U.S. 31 and Lincoln Avenue. CSX has to finish taking care of a problem on the railroad tracks at 24th Street and Lincoln Avenue, which remains closed. According to City Manager Ryan Cotton, they may work on Sunday to get the job completed.
