LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan Department of Transportation is working to get as many construction areas opened as possible for the Labor Day weekend. Traffic restrictions will be lifted on 96 of the current 140 projects around the state by 3 p.m. Friday. Triple-A Michigan is estimating 1.2-million people will be traveling over the holiday weekend in the state.
