LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Two Allegan County farmers were appointed to three-year terms on state agricultural panels by Governor Snyder yesterday. Steven Koeman, who owns over two thousand acres near Hamilton, is on the Soybean Promotion Committee to represent local growers. Wayne Leep of Martin has more than 13 hundred acres on his property near Martin, and will represent chip growers on the state’s Potato Industry Commission.
