HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The city of Holland has done a lot of road work this summer especially on the south side. The good news is that the Washington Avenue project is on schedule and should be back to two lanes of traffic in each direction by next Friday. There are some other projects around. City Engineer Brian White also said that the 24th St. project has been lagging but should be completed the week after school starts. That’s not the end of road projects in Holland. Once 24th St. is finished, a street resurfacing project begins on Lincoln Ave. between 24th and 32nd Streets so expect more detours.
