HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices rose, on average, by eight pennies per gallon over a seven-day span along the Lakeshore, but the level from this morning’s weekly survey of Holland area stations of $3.62 is 22 cents less than a year ago at this time. Rates ranged from $3.57 to $3.65. Triple-A’s daily polling of retailers had marks of $3.54 nationally and $3.59 statewide, down four cents and up four pennies, respectively, from last Friday. WHTC/WYVN has been canvassing outlets for fuel prices since 2002.
