HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) -- The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a 13-year-old kayaker found a body in Lake Macatawa this morning. Based on evidence found on the body, the preliminary identification is that the body is that of a missing Holland man. Lieutenant Mark Bennett says that the Sheriff’s Office was called out this morning to Pinecrest Street, just west of Dunton Park around 11:30 a.m. Joshus Jake Bol was reported as missing on Tuesday by his wife, who had last seen him when he walked her to work Monday afternoon. The cause of death is pending the release of autopsy results. The investigation continues.
