HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Holland City Council Chambers were standing room only on Wednesday night. There were a couple of people from Laketown Township and they were there to address concerns about the Township losing service from the Holland BPW. One lady was representing her disabled brother and asked for HBPW to allow more time before terminating service to Laketown. The BPW Board had recommended in a closed door session that City Council reject the Resolution and Franchise Ordinance submitted by the Laketown Township Board. The BPW Board asked Council to table their vote until the Laketown Township Board’s meeting, next Monday, August 12th.
