HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- A couple of Hope College’s athletic facilities are being recognized nationally by the American Sports Builders Association. The Ray & Sue Smith Stadium, Hope’s home for football, took top honors in the Single Field category. The 5,322-seat Ray & Sue Smith Stadium will be dedicated during Hope’s first home game on September 14th. The Vande Poel-Herringa Stadium Courts is the winner in the Outdoor Tennis category. Both projects are in the national competition for the ASBA Facility of the Year. The winner will be announced in December.
