UNDATED (WHTC) -- The West Ottawa School District is looking for people who look to the future and want help in the planning of it. The Board of Education is putting together a community group of some 60 volunteers to help in the determination of the district’s needs and then to help create a long term facilities plan to meet those needs. The district can seek voter approval for up to $85 million to renovate and improve its facilities and technologies WITHOUT increasing the millage rate taxpayers pay in property taxes. The first meeting is scheduled for September 10th at 6:30 p.m. Those interested in serving should contact Julie VandenBerg at 738-5795.
