LANSING (WKZO) -- Budget talks continue in Lansing today as legislators inch toward their goal of finalizing a plan by June 1st. Reportedly at the top of the discussion list is road and infrastructure funding. The governor proposes increasing vehicle registration fees as one way of raising some of the necessary cash. Opponents, though, say that Michigan residents are too cash strapped to shoulder that type of burden.
