UNDATED (WHTC) - Rain compelled the Tigers to postpone their game against visiting Kansas City last night, with no makeup date immediately announced. The two teams are scheduled to meet again at Comerica Park this evening, with coverage on 1450 WHTC beginning at 6:40 PM.

Darwin Barney’s solo homer in the 10th inning broke a 2-2 tie, and the Cubs went on to win at Cincinnati last night, 4-2. The rubber game of the series at The Great American Ballpark is this afternoon.

Rain washed out last night’s scheduled Cleveland at White Sox game, with no makeup date immediately announced. The abbreviated series at US Cellular Field concludes this afternoon.

Erik Gonzalez’ two-run double in the eighth inning gave visiting Lake County the lead for good, and the Captains went on to beat the Whitecaps yesterday, 8-5. The rubber game of the series at Fifth Third Ballpark is this afternoon.
