DETROIT (WKZO) -- The coffers of the Michigan Democratic Party have roughly another quarter-million dollars more than they did before the start of the weekend. The money came in at the party's annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner in Detroit, keynoted by a speech by Vice President Joe Biden. Other speakers included retiring U.S. Senator Carl Levin and the state's junior U.S. Senator, Debbie Stabenow.
