LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan state Superintendent Mike Flanagan doesn't like the proposal from the National Rifle Association to put armed guards in every school. The state's top educator said adding more guns will make things "get worse" in this past weekend's "Off The Record" on public television across Michigan. Flanagan said while he is opposed to a policy of adding armed security at schools to prevent a repeat of the Connecticut massacre, he did say he won't oppose local districts deciding their own gun policies.
