GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - A Holland native died over the weekend in a motorcycle crash. Grand Rapids police believe high speed was a factor when 52-year-old Joseph Wilson lost control of his machine on southbound US-131 past the I-196 junction just past midnight on Saturday morning. His bike crashed into a cement wall, and he was thrown about 40 feet to near Turner Avenue below. Although helmeted, Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation continues.
