UNDATED (WHTC) - Eduardo Escobar's two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning off of Phil Coke enabled Minnesota to rally past the visiting Tigers on Wednesday, 3-2. The rubber game of the series at Target Field in Minneapolis is on Thursday. Broadcast time on 1450 WHTC is at 12:45 PM.

Wandy Rodriguez allowed just two hits and struck out six in nearly seven innings, as Pittsburgh blanked the visiting Cubs on Wednesday night, 3-0. The rubber game of the series at PNC Park is on Thursday.

Jake Peavy scattered four hits and struck out six over six innings, and he got offensive support from four homers, as the White Sox downed visiting Kansas City on Wednesday, 5-2. Chicago goes for the series sweep of the Royals at US Cellular Field on Thursday.

The West Michigan Whitecaps open up their 20th season of Midwest League play on Thursday evening by hosting the Dayton Dragons at Fifth Third Ballpark. Catch all of the action on 1450 WHTC, starting at 6:05 PM.
