PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - Ottawa County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for those responsible for an apparent drive-by shooting at a Park Township house late last night.
According to Sergeant Matt Wildfong, a neighbor called authorities after 11 PM, saying that there was the sound of gunfire crackling near his home in the area of Riley Street and 146th Avenue. There was no trace of anyone when the neighbor looked outside of his window, and the house next door had five bullet holes seen by deputies, but nobody inside of the dwelling was hit.
The identities of those inside the stricken residence were not disclosed, and Sergeant Wildfong didn’t give any cause as to the nature of the shooting. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT, http://mosotips.com).
