SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputies have been busy investigating a couple of burglaries near South Haven several hours apart. Around 8 PM on Wednesday, the Lacota Church on 60th Street was broken into, with an acoustic guitar and a 100-foot extension cord taken from a storage shed, and no suspects were immediately apprehended. A few hours later, the Fideland Fun Park Amusement Center on County Road 388 was victimized, with machines damaged and several unidentified items taken, and a total damage estimate is over 10 thousand dollars. Again, no suspects are in custody, and authorities aren't saying if the two incidents are related in any way. Anyone with any information is asked to contest the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department or their Silent Observer number at 866-774-2345.
