SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputies have been busy investigating a couple of burglaries near South Haven several hours apart. Around 8 PM on Wednesday, the Lacota Church on 60th Street was broken into, with an acoustic guitar and a 100-foot extension cord taken from a storage shed, and no suspects were immediately apprehended. A few hours later, the Fideland Fun Park Amusement Center on County Road 388 was victimized, with machines damaged and several unidentified items taken, and a total damage estimate is over 10 thousand dollars. Again, no suspects are in custody, and authorities aren't saying if the two incidents are related in any way.
