UNDATED (WHTC) - The Detroit Tigers' magic number to clinch the American League Central title is down to three after Saturday's action.
While Miguel Cabrera slugged a three-run homer to power the Bengals to a 6-4 victory at Minnesota, former Tiger Matt Joyce drove in four with a pair of homers in Tampa Bay's 10-4 triumph over the White Sox in Chicago. The results give Detroit a two-game lead on the Pale Hose with each team having four games remaining in the season.
On Sunday afternoon, while the Sox finish up hosting the Rays, the Tigers conclude their series at Minnesota.
