WALKER (WKZO) -- 14-year-old Jared Seagraves is facing charges in adult court for allegedly killing his sister's boyfriend. He was charged Thursday with open murder for the death of 20-year-old Michael Haminger on Sunday. The victim is also the father of the unborn child of Seagraves' sister. Under Michigan law, he could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted, but a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision says juveniles must be allowed parole hearings along the way and can no longer receive that sentence without parole.
