DETROIT (WKZO) -- Some of the action at Comerica Park yesterday was not on the basepads, as police were called to the stadium to check out a suspicious package mailed to a Tigers player. According to a statement by Tigers' vice president of communications Ron Colangelo, authorities were contacted after the package was delivered to the park. After an inspection by Detroit police and Comerica Park security, the package was deemed safe.
