LANSING (WKZO) -- Corn and soybean harvest in Michigan is coming in faster than normal. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly crop progress report shows ten-percent of the corn crop is in the bin, compared to one-percent at this time last year and the average for this time in September of five-percent. Soybean harvest is coming along even faster at twelve-percent complete, compared to an average of seven-percent.
