UNDATED (WHTC) - The Tigers were swept in a day-night doubleheader at Comerica Park by visiting Minnesota yesterday. Joe Mauer drove in four runs as the Twins took the daytime opener, 10-4. Jamey Carroll singled home the winning run in the 10th inning off of Jose Valverde in the nightcap, 2-1. Detroit hosts Kansas City this evening.
Allen Craig and Pete Kozma each drove in two runs, as visiting St. Louis beat the Cubs yesterday, 6-3. Chicago is at Colorado tomorrow night.
Jared Weaver tossed over six innings of five-hit, four-strikeout baseball, as the LA Angels defeated the visiting White Sox yesterday, 4-1. Chicago entertains Cleveland this evening.

Rod Bironas' 26-yard field goal in overtime lifted Tennessee past the visiting Lions yesterday, 44-41. Detroit is home to Minnesota next Sunday, with coverage on 1450 WHTC at 12 Noon.
Michael Bush ran for one touchdown, Major Wright intercepted a pass for another score, and Robbie Gould booted three field goals, as the Bears won over visiting St. Louis yesterday, 26-3. Chicago travels to Dallas next Monday evening.
