HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices along the Lakeshore were, on average, at $3.78 per gallon, based on this morning’s survey of Holland area stations. Rates ranged from $3.72 to $3.98. This is 22 cents less than a week ago at this time, and continues a steep rollercoaster at the pump that has been in place since Hurricane Isaac menaced the Gulf in late August. A year ago, fuel was going for $3.54 per gallon. Triple-A’s daily polling had means of $3.83 nationally and $3.95 statewide, down four and nine cents, respectively, over a seven-day period.
