HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A Holland Township woman was apparently behind a one-person crime spree on Holland’s North Side.
Over the past six weeks, a number of parked vehicles were burglarized, with thousands of dollars in property taken. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Mark Bennett, the break in the case came on Monday, when the use of a credit card stolen from one of the victimized vehicles helped lead authorities to the alleged suspect. The card was traced to a North Side home of a 22-year-old woman, who was taken into custody. Much of the loot was recovered during her arrest, and detectives are attempting to match the items up with their proper owners. The unnamed woman is jailed awaiting arraignment on various charges.
