GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - A 23-year-old man father of a now two-month-old son waived a preliminary hearing this morning on first-degree child abuse charges, stemming from an incident last month in which the boy was violently shaken at a Spring Lake home. Bentley McIntyre is still hospitalized as he slowly recovers from the assault. Justin McIntyre remains held on 75 thousand dollars bond, and could face life in prison if convicted.
