ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - The Zeeland City Council holds a public hearing this evening, seeking input to a proposal that would allow restaurants that currently have a liquor license for sales by the glass to be able to sell take-out beer and wine. Vitale’s on Washington Avenue is looking for such an expansion. The ordinance change would also clarify the 25 percent display restriction for alcohol sales. Council won’t vote on the matter tonight.
