KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The race for Michigan's 6th Congressional District is heating up as Democratic candidate Mike O'Brien has laid down the gauntlet challenging incumbent Fred Upton to 6 debates.  

O'Brien says his campaign team has been in contact with Congressman Upton's office and looks forward to sitting down at a host of debates leading up to the November 6 election.
