DETROIT (WKZO) -- A new study shows that Metro Detroit has one of the worst rates of disconnected youths in the nation.
According to a report by Measure of America, 17-percent of youths ages 16-to-24 are not in school or working. The authors of the study reviewed the rates of youth disconnection in the 25-largest metro areas in the country.
Phoenix topped the list with 18-point-eight-percent, followed by Miami at 17-point-one-percent and Detroit at 17-percent.
