LANSING (WKZO) -- Tennis great Serena Williams headlines the list of people to be enshrined in the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame in Lansing in October. Williams was born in Saginaw and has captured 29 Grand Slam titles and four Olympic gold medals in her career.
Also being enshrined are Patricia Caruso, who was the first female director of the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the late Eva Hamilton, who was the first woman elected to the Michigan Legislature when she ws elected to the state Senate in 1920.
