DETROIT (WKZO) -- The three Detroit casinos are back in the black after three straight months of revenue declines.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board reported August revenue at Greektown Casino at just over 29-million dollars, while the MGM Grand casino saw revenue of nearly 50-million dollars and the MotorCity casino profited over 38-million dollars. All three venues say their revenue is higher compared to the same period last year.
The three month decline was attributed, in part, to a pair of new casinos that opened in Toledo and Cleveland.
