LANSING (WKZO) -- Flags across the state will be lowered on Monday to honor Army Private First Class Shane Cantu of Corunna.  The 20-year-old Cantu died on August 28 n Afghanistan.  Cantu was awarded among others, the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal and Army Good Conduct Meal posthumously.  He was a member of the U.S. Army, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team.
