MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) - More charges have been filed against Shane Wheeler, a 43-year-old parolee from Holland who allegedly broke into a number of businesses at a Fruitport complex on August 11th. He was arraigned on two counts of breaking and entering after already facing one count stemming from the burglaries in the 300 block of North Third Street. Wheeler, who was captured shortly after the crimes, could face life in prison as a habitual offender if convicted. He remains lodged in the Muskegon County Jail at 20 thousand dollars, with prelmiinary hearings set for next Wednesday and on September 17th.
