KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It was a painful Labor Day weekend at the gas pump, with prices in West Michigan averaging three-96 per gallon. Most holiday travelers just followed through with their plans anyway, figuring out other ways to shave costs.
GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan says while we're still paying as much as four-dollars-nine-cents in some areas of West Michigan, relief could be coming.
The website is predicting the national average price will fall to three-54 by November, though that's only about 26-cents lower than the current U.S. average posted on GasBuddy.com
