LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Pete Hoekstra, the Republican nominee for US Senate, didn’t immediately accept incumbent Debbie Stabenow’s offer of two debates prior to the November 6^th General Election. The Lansing Democrat agreed to face off against the former Congressman from Holland at Grand Valley State’s Grand Rapids campus and before the Economic Club of Detroit; no dates mentioned. Hoekstra had challenged Stabenow to six debates.
