HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A jury has been seated to hear the misdemeanor trespassing case against Bill Freeman. The chaplain of the Interfaith Congregation is charged after refusing to leave City Hall following a City Council meeting last September. Freeman was attempting an “occupy” protest to council’s rejection of adding a LGBT provision to the city’s anti-discrimination ordinance. His trial in Holland District Court is slated for September 26th.
