DETROIT (WKZO) -- Presidential campaign ads have not been seen to this point on Michigan TV screens, but that is about to change.

The Restore Our Future political action committee will spend over two-million dollars on ads in support of Republican nominee Mitt Romney in the state, and just hours after that was announced, President Obama's campaign said it will also start running ads.  Neither campaign has paid a lot of attention to Michigan, as the polls for the most part have been indicating voters were leaning toward Obama.

Jim Messina, the campaign manager for the Obama campaign, called the move by the PAC and Romney campaign desperate and added they are "throwing money at states where they have never built an organization."
