SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - Crews from five fire departments responded to a blaze in downtown Saugatuck this morning. Flames erupted in a vacant storage building behind the Good Goods Art and Furniture Gallery on Mason Street around 6:30. There were no reports of any injuries among first respondents. Investigators didn’t immediately make a conclusion about a cause of the fire, although the possiblity of a downed power line is being considered, and the building is considered a total loss.
