AURBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- The third quarter economic report from Chrysler Group LLC finds an 80-percent increase in net income compared to last year.

Officials report strong new vehicle sales propelled the income figure to 381-million dollars for the quarter.  Net revenue for the automaker also jumped by 18-percent.

Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne says the company's free cash flow will top one-billion dollars for the year.  Marchionne says revenue for the year will be 65-million dollars.
