HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Although not running for reelection himself until 2014, US Senator Carl Levin is stumping for the Democratic ticket in the November 6^th election.

Making a campus swing through West Michigan by speaking before Hope College Democrats last night, Levin claimed that right-wing ideology could bring down the Republicans across the board at the ballot box. The 30-minute session at the Paul Schaap Science Center was his first Lakeshore appearance since addressing what is now the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce this past March. The Detroit Democrat will talk at the GRCC main campus in Grand Rapids today.
