HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Officials of the management company that operates the Clear View Apartments complex say that insurance adjusters have pegged the damage from an October 10th fire at 1.4 million dollars. A total of 29 families were displaced by the blaze on Holland's North Side, which was started by a resident attempting to skin a squirrel with a propane torch. That unnamed resident will be held liable for a 10 thousand-dollar insurance deductible. Work on rebuilding the damaged areas will begin once final claims are settled.
