KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Take a nice picture of a Michigan scene? Officials at Pure Michigan want to see it - and may use it in the state's promotional materials.

"We're asking folks to share their Pure Michigan moment with us in a photo contest," Michelle Begnoche, Pure Michigan spokesperson, said. "The winner of that contest will have their photo in the Pure Michigan Travel Guide, which will have a million copies printed."

Some have already submitted pictures for the contest.

"We're seeing a lot of the Mackinac Bridge...beaches...fall colors," Begnoche said. "But we're also seeing some things that are unique to people - people's kids, people's cabins," Begnoche said.
