DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors is planning on hiring three-thousand Hewlett Packard workers who used to do IT work for the automaker. The move is part of a plan to bring most of the company's IT work in-house versus having it farmed out. The move comes as Hewlett-Packard plans on cutting 29-thousand jobs by October 2014.
