HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - For the second straight Saturday, Tulip Time officials have had to postpone the scheduled planting of 50 thousand tulip bulbs at the Window on the Waterfront park off of 6th Street in downtown Holland. Just as last Saturday, fears of predicted rain was the reason given for the cancellation. Hoping that the third time will be the proverbial charm, an open volunteer effort is slated for this coming Thursday, from 12 PM to 4 PM, with no advance registration required. A total of over 300 thousand bulbs will be planted around the Tulip City this fall for spring blooming.
