HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - An unnamed Holland High School sophomore was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle near the school campus yesterday afternoon. Public Safety officials say that the 15-year-old boy was walking southbound on the sidewalk along Van Raalte Avenue when he apparently jumped in front of a car. The driver and two passengers inside of the vehicle were not hurt. It isn’t believed that the car was speeding at the time. The investigation into the matter continues.
