HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices plummeted along the Lakeshore and across the state in the latest polling. This morning’s survey of Holland area stations had an average of $3.55, a quarter per gallon less than at this time last Friday, while Triple-A’s daily canvassing had a mean of $3.58 in Michigan, a 27-cent drop. Fuel industry analysts say a number of factors led to the apparently bottom falling out of the market. Nationally, gas is selling at $3.71.
