DETROIT (WHTC) - Douglas city officials and representatives of the Saugatuck/Douglas Convention and Visitors Bureau will be in Detroit today to receive the President's Plaque, emblematic of top honors, at the Keep Michigan Beautiful Annual Conference and Awards program. The accolade is for Douglas’ downtown beautification project, and may help city officials gain grants for further renovations along the Blue Star Highway corridor.
