UNDATED (WHTC) - Two local governmental entities hold meetings tonight.
The Holland City Council takes on whether the city should retain Hope College’s Frost Center, at a cost of nearly 19 thousand dollars, to conduct a phone survey of 500 residents on various matters. Council members are considering less expensive alternatives that may or may not provide as accurate a gauge of local opinion.
Meanwhile, Singapore Dunes presents a development proposal to Saugatuck Township planners for a luxury resort-condo complex on undeveloped land near the mouth of the Kalamazoo River. This proposal would be in keeping with current zoning restrictions; a more expansive proposal that seeks six variances was put before the township's Zoning Board for consideration last week.
