HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A 57-year-old Holland man's driving privledges may be in question after he crashed his vehicle into a South Side house yesterday afternoon.
According to witnesses, Danny Sneller was driving eastbound on 32nd Avenue when he stopped his vehicle in the westbound lanes before Graafschap Road. The vehicle then sped up, veered to the left, went through a couple of yards, and crashed into a Marylane Drive house where the homeowner was sitting in an enclosed porch. There were no injuries, and damage to the dwelling was minimal.
Holland Public Safety officers said that Sneller told them he had "blacked out" and had no memory of how he ended up where he did. He went to Holland Hospital complaining of flu-like symptoms. Although alcohol wasn't believed to have been a factor in the crash, PSD officials plan to ask the Michigan Secretary of State's office to reexamine Sneller's driving privledges due to medial issues.
The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Holland Department of Public Safety.
