Michigan ballot proposals losing ground

by

GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- A new poll by WZZM-13 shows almost all of Michigan's ballot proposals are losing support among voters.

Out of six ballot measures only one, Proposal One, asking voters to keep the emergency manager law, was faring well.  According to the survey, 43-percent would uphold that law, up seven points from September.

Proposal Two would guarantee collective bargaining rights, however only 43-percent support that measure, down from 50-percent last month.

Proposal Five requiring two-thirds majorities in the House and Senate to raise taxes, is faring even worse.  Only 38-percent of voters are in favor of the plan, down from 51-percent.
